Theory is one thing, but we all know that we need practice to get good.

Skillz & Drillz is a remote practice space where those wishing to try out skills related to psychological safety, conflict, play & genius can safely learn by doing, receive coaching, and get better.

Soft skills like empathy, listening, holding space for others, giving feedback in a way that it can be heard constructively, fighting fair, speaking the truth to the people who need to hear it, emotional self-regulation, and other leadership boons can be learned and practiced safely here.

Each week will explore skills and drills for developing competency in either or both of the following areas:

Psychological Safety (Empathy, Attunement, Listening, Reflecting, Compassionate Witness)

and

Constructive Conflict/Truth-Telling (Self-soothing, Self-supporting, Other-supporting, Clean Communication, Gaining Buy-in, Problem definition & resolution, Tolerating making people angry, etc).

Small group size, high amount of direct coaching, role playing, & feedback to improve.
