Getting to Team Genius through the Power of Psychological Safety
This intimate, practical coaching group is for people who would like to learn more about how they can personally experience profound psychological safety at work, as well as help their teams, collaborators & whole work ecosystems experience the knock-on benefits of secure bonds of trust.
Psychological safety is the platform of everything and makes it possible to face conflicts constructively, play to achieve genius together, and survive speaking the truths necessary to succeed.
Through not-too-boring slides, powerful experiential exercises, discussion, direct coaching, and learning from others, we take a tour through the mechanics of psychological safety, learning tools and practicing skills that establish, nurture, protect, and repair human connections.
Participants leave with inspiring insights for further reflection as well as useable approaches for generating humane, sustainable teams full of creative intelligence.
Four 1.5-hour group sessions over Zoom include theory and practice, optional homework & materials for further research, direct coaching to address current issues, and peer learning.
Due to the small group size of max 8 participants, individual attention in this group is high.
Week 1: Basics of personal psychological safety: how to feel safe enough to let your own authentic genius out at work.
Week 2: Team safety: how to co-create a team culture that’s safe for everyone’s uniqueness.
Week 3: Alchemy of conflict: how to embrace conflict energies as part of cooking up genius together.
Week 4: Team Genius: how to decide, flow and deliver as one.

Skillz & Drillz | soft skills practice space
Theory is one thing, but we all know that we need practice to get good.
Skillz & Drillz is a remote practice space where those wishing to try out skills related to psychological safety, conflict, play & genius can safely learn by doing, receive coaching, and get better.
Soft skills like empathy, listening, holding space for others, giving feedback in a way that it can be heard constructively, fighting fair, speaking the truth to the people who need to hear it, emotional self-regulation, and other leadership boons can be learned and practiced safely here.
Each week will explore skills and drills for developing competency in either or both of the following areas:
Psychological Safety (Empathy, Attunement, Listening, Reflecting, Compassionate Witness)
and
Constructive Conflict/Truth-Telling (Self-soothing, Self-supporting, Other-supporting, Clean Communication, Gaining Buy-in, Problem definition & resolution, Tolerating making people angry, etc).
Small group size, high amount of direct coaching, role playing, & feedback to improve.
